Pahrump Equine Trail Riders Activities

     Is a new club starting up in Pahrump. While it will include trail riding, that will not be its only goal. It will also include clinics, competitions, fun days and other horse related activities.

     There will be trail rides at various levels from the novice (trail) to the more advanced trail levels. Those wishing to learn more about trail riding or just those wishing to put more group oriented trail miles on their horse will find an organized, safe venue. Those that just wish the exercise and a social outlet will also be within a friendly environment. We plan to offer a sliding scale of requirements that will suit all levels. Whether you want to learn, socialize or test your limits there will be rides suited to your needs.

     There will also be clinics on various stages of round penning, general horse care and training techniques. For those first time owners an intro level of general horse owner / horse care tips. While still being a trail riding general format we wish the club to have a more diverse and far reaching scope than any one activity by itself allows.

     For those that may be interested there will also be the startup of Pahrump's first competitive trail riding group  with practical applications and orientations. The activity as well as the participants can progress in level together.

    As stated there will be a sliding scale of skill and preference in all these activities. Along with that will be the added benefit of those with a base understanding, up to an advanced experience level, for members to draw on. It is meant to be an inclusive grouping where anyone, whatever their experience, can find a niche. Everyone joining will be an advantage to the group as a whole, and the group as a whole will be the ones in charge.

   The club will not be proprietary, meaning that no one person or cliche will own it. Every member will have an equal say as to the habits, events, and activities of the club. No one will be refused due to associations, experience, or other influences.

     Elected positions ( by broad club vote ) will be few and merely directors of the groups wishes. As well, positions will be held for as long ( or short ) a period as the groups' confidence and preferance dictate. Financial responsibility and general accountability will be overseen by a neutral third party non- profit organization.

    Remember as horse owners we all know that there is always something to learn and everyone has something to contribute, it is the hope that this club can allow for both of these things to become more available and easier to obtain.
